ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS/DEFINATIONS
DISTRICT DISTRICT - Rotary is divided into districts. Some countries have many districts while some districts may cover more than one country.
OB OUTBOUND - is our term for a student going out of our district to exchange with another district/country
IB INBOUND - is the term for a student coming in from another district/country
RB REBOUND - is the term we use for a student who has returned from an exchange experience
YEO YOUTH EXCHANGE OFFICER - is the one representing a Rotary Club in the exchange program
HOST FAMILY HOST FAMILY - Is a hosting family who takes in an exchange student for from three to four months. The student lives in the family as if he or she is a regular family member.
